These walls are cold, uninviting, and carry the scent of volatile tears. I once thought this place would be a terror of boredom. Now? It's just like that, but fun. My name is Cleril, I am insane. Or rather, the people who put me in asylum think so. I've been placed under solitary confinement with little more than a straw bed and a bag to shit in. I spend my time in my mind, my insane cradle if you will. In it I can visit my alter egos, The Jester, The Flirt, The Writer, and The Stranger. Perhaps I can sort out my coal lump of a mind with them. Or maybe, maybe they don't love me anymore. I wouldn't be surprised, I wouldn't love me if I wasn't me either.

The Jester is just as whacked out on humor as ever. I'm all for jokes but he...There is no stopping with him. He can go on and on about how good his ass looks as he takes his monthly shower. Or how that one time in Haven he made me look as ridiculous as him. I scorn his humor, perhaps I'm jealous. I never got a crowd to be laughed by, just at.

The Flirt, her sweet melancholy voice pesters my ears with their....I'm not sure what she wants. One moment she is beckoning me and then next she tells me to leave. Women tend to do that, bring you up, take you down, and never leave you whole. Sadly, she isn't a woman. She isn't real. She's just my sexuality, and I have one hell of a sexuality.

The Writer is an uncanny one. He attempts to write as well as me, Cleril, The Poet! He cracks me up with his attempts at recognition. Something seems off about him, maybe he's come down with a little something due to the lack of a pen, and paper. You can only have both, not one, or the other. Otherwise, you've just got hope.

The Stranger revolves around the unknown. I am a constantly shifting, altering shade of gray. He shows me sights I cannot see from my lowly perspective alone. Sometimes he argues with me, or maybe, he's just trying to one-up me in some unannounced debate. Either way, he's honest, at least.

Features:

*Highly repayable - From whole dialogue changes to entirely different sights or quest outcomes. There is enough replay value to last you quite a few playthroughs.

*Original OST - Made from Myna, a free audio-editing browser program, I've crafted every song in Haven 2.

*Linear variety - You may be stuck in an asylum but that doesn't mean you can't have a little spice in your quest lineup. The narrative is more focused but the quests are all unique.

*Damage system - What is that black line in some of the screenies? That's damage in Cleril's mind. It shows visually that there is still something to take care of before you can progress the main plot. Damage comes in many shapes and one shade, black, like ink. The more complex the Damage looks the more "interesting" a quest may be.

*Insanity marks - Fail a quest? Well don't worry about dying in Haven 2. The consequence for failure is the addition of an insanity mark (variable, you can't see it) which may change how the meadow looks (adding cracks) or how the game will end. No matter how much you suck Haven 2 moves on with no game overs.

*Customize your meadow - Draw new objects in Cleril's own meadow or change the music for a time. Make the meadow more "homey."

*90% of what you say you choose - Cleril has no morality but he has personality. How you interact with his aspects of personality alter how they will treat him in dialogue. Often they mention previous actions taken for them or against them.

*1.5 hours or so game time - With replay value expect 2-3 hours max time (considering if you don't skip anything).

It is recommended you play Haven first though it is not necessary to grasp any of Haven 2's story. You'll miss references though and there's quite a few.
