Boulder Dash for the Atari 2600.
Programmers Andrew Davie and Thomas Jentzsch in association with publishers AtariAge and First Star Software, Inc, are set to release the long awaited Atari 2600 port of Boulder Dash® in time for Christmas 2011.Andrew and Thomas have been working on this port for almost a decade and have reproduced all sounds and graphics as faithfully as possible. They have exact implementations of all 16 caves and the 4 intermissions of the original game, playable in 5 difficulty levels.
The game will be available for purchase exclusively from the AtariAge Store for $75 [USD] and include the cartridge and professionally printed box and manual. The production run is set to 250 units and the game will only be available in cartridge format.
