Hey all! I thought I'd open up a friendly challenge. How about a game of Donkey Kong? Let's post our high scores, whichever version you want to play. Arcade on MAME, NES (DK or DK Classics), whichever. Unfortunately even though I'm starting this challenge, I'm not at my computer to actually post a score yet, soooo...not the best way to get the ball rolling. But I'll post up a screenshot as soon as I can.

Who doesn't love a good game of Donkey Kong? : )

I've actually not played DK that much.. So I'm sure I'll be awful, but I'm game. :)

I'll put some time in on MAME tomorrow night and see how I do.

Well, I played a little tonight, and got 21,600 on MAME. Unfortunately I realized afterwards I didn't know how to take a screenshot and exited the game. d'oh! The ROM I'm running, DK (US set 1), seemed to be a little on the fast side; when I got to the level with the conveyor belts and the spring thing, it was moving much faster than I'd remembered it. Maybe I'm just used to the NES version, though.
