3DS photos

19 November 2011 - 04:01 AM

Hey all, I took some photos with my 3DS at Nintendo World in NYC the other day, using the giant AR cards they have on the floors to make giant characters appear. It was pretty cool. I uploaded some to the gallery if you'd like to see, and thought it would be fun if anyone else had some cool 3DS pictures that they'd like to add to the gallery.

If the links worked, clicking on the pictures should take you to a 3D version of the photos, which on a normal screen shows up in wiggle-vision, but if look at the link with a 3DS, you'll get the 3D image.

King of Kong Challenge!

19 November 2011 - 01:30 AM

Hey all! I thought I'd open up a friendly challenge. How about a game of Donkey Kong? Let's post our high scores, whichever version you want to play. Arcade on MAME, NES (DK or DK Classics), whichever. Unfortunately even though I'm starting this challenge, I'm not at my computer to actually post a score yet, soooo...not the best way to get the ball rolling. But I'll post up a screenshot as soon as I can.

Who doesn't love a good game of Donkey Kong? : )

Hey everyone, I'm Paul, otherwise known as Toad64. Like everyone else here, I'm a lifelong gamer with a passion for the classic gaming era. I started gaming in the early 80s when my dad bought a TRS-80, then shortly later an Atari 2600, then Atari 7800. After that I received my Nintendo, and would stick with Nintendo loyally for a long time; Super NES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64, GBA, Gamecube, DS, and Wii. I was pretty much a Nintendo fanboy, until I borrowed a friend's PS2, which prompted me to get one of my own. Now I play on all the major consoles, but still have a soft spot for the house that Mario built.

I enjoy collecting retro games as well as import games, and look forward to talking about both with other like-minded people in this site.
